Browsing & managing reports

Reports land in their stream’s feed, newest first. This page covers finding the ones you want and clearing out the ones you don’t. For the format agents post, see Sending reports.

Every report is either active or archived. A feed has two tabs — Active and Archived — each with a live count, and the sidebar’s stream and category counts reflect active reports only. Archiving hides a report from the active feed without deleting it; you can unarchive it any time.

Narrow a feed with the filter bar — full-text search plus:

  • Severity info warning critical .
  • Source, Category, Stream — scope to one of each.
  • Date — a range picker with quick presets (Last 7 / 30 / 90 days, This month) or a custom From/To. Clear dates resets it.
  • Tags — a multi-select populated from the tags actually used in your reports. Pick one or more; empty matches all.

Search covers only active reports by default; toggle to include archived when you need the full history.

Two lifecycle actions, both for editor role or higher (the new reports:manage capability — see Members & roles):

  • Archive / Unarchive — moves a report between the Active and Archived tabs. Reversible. Use it to keep the active feed focused on what’s current.
  • Deletepermanently removes the report. There’s no undo and no recovery.

You can act on one report from its detail page, or on many at once.

In a feed, enter selection mode (the checkboxes reveal on hover, and work on touch). Select all, or tick individual reports, then use the action bar to Archive, Unarchive, or Delete the lot. Each action confirms first and reports back — “12 reports archived”.

Archive, unarchive, and delete all propagate over the live connection, so other open tabs and dashboards update without a refresh.
